Rei, also known as: hireith.pro online, Is a Costumer and Sewist from the Pacific Northwest. Rei grew up in Bellingham until his family moved to Texas in 2008, he spent roughly 13 years in Texas (Houston, San Antonio, Galveston, Kemah, etc.) until over the pandemic (summer of 2021) did he move back to the PNW area.
He found love in theatre and cosplaying at a young age, having an outlet to act as someone else for a while and not having to worry about personal hardships for a few weekends out of the year.As a cosplayer: Rei attends, or tries to attend multiple conventions a year to run Theatrical Panels and Compete in Craftsmanship Competitions. He currently is in a cosplay group that helps run said panels by the name of Kappa Omega Cosplay, themed after Greek life since all members are in college/college age. Kappa Omega Cosplay has been running panels at conventions for 6 years and has grown close with convention organizers from frequent successful panels.As a Costumer: Rei has made countless costumes fueled by sparkles and fluffy Idol* medias and has since opened commissions for costumes akin to that type. He also possesses a shop that offers free and tip-based purchases for small costume accessories.He's constantly looking for ways to improve his craft: Cosplaying. Sucking up any and all information he can like a sponge.☆ Master level Cosplayer with over 12 years of sewing and crafting experience.

Megurine Luka, my favorite Vocaloid. I originally made this costume during the start of the Covid shutdown in Texas, made out of my high school graduation robes and other bits and pieces across my house. I then wore her to the Kinokuniya Summer fest/ Anime Matsuri meet up in 2020, again right before the quarantine started in Texas. This has got to be the cheapest costume I have made throughout the years, and I would like to remake it eventually.

Leah and Sara Kazuno, these were some of the last competition costumes that I made and Competed with in Texas. Also one of the only times that I went via plane to Delta H Con. I'm so glad I was able to convince my friend Mushu (whom played Sara for this performance) to cosplay with me . I'm so glad that she continues to cosplay on occasion within our little group of Kappa Omega Cosplay.

I got into Genshin Impact due to Barbara's character, The Idol who has to work to make a living, that is what she was described as to me. I have been obsessed with her ever since! I made this costume originally for a competition at a convention named Anime Matsuri. This was the last costume I made in Texas before I moved to the Pacific Northwest. Eventually I would like to remake her since I now know more than ever and I think I can bring some light back into this costume that I once so adored.
